Who should have been NFL coach of the year?

Bill Bellick (Coach for the PATS) was named coach of the year. Do you really think that he deserved it? Yeah, his team is undefeated, but do you think they should've givin someone else a chance?

I really just want a team to eat the Patriots words when some say they are the best and nothing can stop em.

Yah man, Bellichek goes 16 - 0 because hes a good coach ya but look at the TALENT on his team... Mike McCarthy trusted an older QB ( by the way i love favre he is an amazing QB and will go down as one of the best ever) with a shaky recieving core along with giving some very poor DB's a shot to stop some of the best recievers in the league and whatever he did worked. Packers 13 - 3 is more impressive to me then the Patriots going 16 - 0 honestly.

Yep, that all happened in the opening five minutes of the first game of the season. The practice wasn't illegal until this season, and the Patriots turned over their library of video documentation (which, by the way is a form of discipline). There was no trash talking by the Patriots to the media about their opponents, unlike what their opponents would say about them. I'd say going 16-0 and putting up ridiculous offensive numbers while being under the direct scrutiny of the NFL should prove how little the tapes mattered.

Disipline! Excuse me but do you know what happened in the begining of the season. The Patriots' coach escaped suspension for using a video camera to spy on opposing coaches, with NFL commissioner Roger Goodell deciding instead on Thursday night to fine him $500,000 and dock the team $250,000 and a first-day draft pick next year.

...The Browns didn't even make the playoffs. Look at all the records the Patriots have set from this season. If that talent were coached by anyone different the result would have been different. Belichick knows football and discipline, and he should be honored for such.

There is a lot of coaches out there that put their hard effort for their team. Like Tony Dungy of the Colts, Mike Tomlin of the Steelers, and tons more. Who thought that Cleveland would get as far as they did. Romeo Crennel should be part of it somewhere shouldn't he?
