well thats sad to hear, me and my husband have lost both of our sets of parents, yes christmas can be sad, but it helps to remain optimistic and enjoy the time with the family we have left
I agree but it sort of bring back bad memories, I think everyone has at least one bad memory. Last year my mother had a car accident before Thanksgiving. She had a stroke and busted her knee cap. She lost most of her motor skills. I spent all of the holidays in the hospital. Christmas last year was the hardest time for me. I really hope this year is better. Having my family like I said is the best part. We don't have any money for gifts but I plan on selling my class ring to get my mom something special. I know I was kinda being materialistic about saying its all for the gifts. Its so much more.
i like buying presents for people, i like getting the "perfect" thing for them, and it all happens on one night while we are all together, having fun and eating fancy food, good times
I just enjoy being out of school. I really get sick of all the warm feelings and happiness. The comedian Lewis Black says Christian's have taken over the month of December and turned it to crap. I guess that sorta is true. I think Christmas starts in July actually. If I had to be serious and answer my own question, it'd be "family" cause I get presents from them all!
