	Well they take the cells before theyve differentiated, meaning before theyve become skin cells, brain cell or whatever. When they take the stem cells they have to get them early, i belive it was the 32 cell stage. So in my mind when you scrape yourself or you kill germs, your probably killing alot more than 32 cells and of course no one sheds a tear over that. This planets almost overpopulated if not overpopulated as it is and a lot of people are in bad shape. Lets try and help these people first. Oh and i think they use adult stem cells more these days anyway if that makes anyone feel better.

	No way, no how. There's been millions (probably billions) of lives wasted in order for humanity to climb up a step. Stopping now is only going to hurt us with stagnation. Plus, I think I heard they are developing a new way to harvest stem cells from other places than unborn fetuses? Maybe test tubes, or something... I dunno.
