Just about any "hit song", from any genre, today, made by the music industry, is overplayed.

HAHA...this song was sooo popular in my highschool a couple months ago. EVERYONE knew the dance, and you only had to hear the first few notes before you'd have people lined up across the hallway dancing. It was a constant at games, mixers, events, anywhere you were. There was a routine for the whole song, and the football team loved to bust it out. After those months it's kinda fizzled out, but people still dance to it when it comes on.

I love rap, but I hate the pre-fabricated garbage that infiltrates the radio scene nowadays. I don't even listen to rap radio anymore, which is sad. I grew up listening to Puffy and Mase, the shiny suit era. That wasn't even half as bad as the crunk/hyphy/pre-processed bullshit era there is now.
