Youth Detention Center

So I did a prison, Oh I am sorry I was told that was not politically correct, I did a Youth Wellness Center, in South Dakota a few years back. Well this "Youth Wellness Center" was an interesting project due to the fact they had 2 spiritual rooms where the juvenille delinquents (I mean youth) were allowed to smoke marijuana or take paoti as they wanted. My first thought is why do they allow this in a prison if they are going to arrest them for it outside. Is it just me or does anyone else think this is ridiculous? Not to mention tax payers, who is paying for their drugged stay? *DING DING DING* That's right you are. Makes me all warm and fuzzy.

Exactly! We're so concerned about making sure we're not mentally harming kids, but they need to be scared of breaking the law... It should not be fun, it should suck, and it should be scary... Which it's weird that I'm saying that, because I hate people that control by fear, but still...

How are you suppose to deter youth from doing wrong when you are basically rewarding them for bad behaviour in prison. The thing I can't remember about this place is if it was on a reservation or not. But still, I don't think it should matter.
