An Epiphany

Ever been told something repeatedly and you either didn't get it or if it was something about yourself you didn't believe and then someone out of the blue says something or does something and you realize what you had been told all along was true or some piece of the puzzle snapped together and you understood what you were being told?

Like for instance I was told once the better part of love is learning to let go. I went thru a 4 month period where I lost 6 of my friends and my gf from that time dumped me. So then that saying made sense to me.
