	not to me it doesnt. mainly cause i do all sorts of metal. i have a variety. i have the stuff that is like all grindcore pig screaming then i have the soft rock sounding stuff. so to me if you are rly into a type of music you dont need to get other stuff. just find new bands and some local stuff. all my local bands are metal and i go to every show they play. its nice to stay with a certain genre because you get indepth and are able to pick out what type of the genre they are very easily. and i love learning new songs for the bass guitar.
