Is Hunting and Fishing Animal Violence?

I am just curious as to how people view hunting and fishing. Is it a sport, or is it survival of the fittest or is it just plain animal violence?

yes it is violence, and i would never hunt or eat meat, but i do think that if you are the type of person who wants to eat meat, that you should be able to go out and get it yourself, its the most ecofriendly,healthy and humane way to do it, and in my opinion, if someone wants to eat meat, but would rather not see it die for them they are diluting themeselves

There’s nothing wrong with hunting or fishing as long as the meet goes to good use. But if you just shoot to kill and leave it then that's messed up. (Except if wildlife is attacking and killing your animals.)
