Sequels?

People say sequels are the worst thing to happen to movies, but I think some sequels are better than the first. For example. 2 Fast 2 Furious, Blade II and Resident Evil: Apocalypse were better, in my opinion, than the first. What do you guys think? What are some of your favortie sequels?

What is up with the sequel numbering on some movies? i mean, for example, the movies the movie First Blood, then the sequel, Rambo: First Blood part 2, then, Rambo 3. Now the fourth movie is out, and it is just titled Rambo

i like Resident Evil 1,2 and 3, can't wait for the fourth one to come out, so movies that have sequels can be boring, like how many saw movies are there going to be before he is totally finished

Cant top the first resident evil and i say that cuz of the games and the first movie correlates with the game but the second one ran away from it a lil. Also all three Saw Movies were great but i say the least shock value in it was 2 but it was still a good movie but not better than the first or third
