I have no clue...I am just a mutt I suppose, but I do know that I have some Irish, either English or French... Willett...One site says it is a form of William, which would make it English...But another site says that it is a form of Willette or Wilet and it is French... So I dunno...

Maternal side: Irish, English, Welsh, French, Italian, a little Scottish, and a very tiny bit Native American (not sure what tribe - captive brought to England) Paternal side: Jewish, German, Russian, Scottish, Moor (which is African Muslim). SO I'm very much a bit of everything west of India... LOL My mom is a family history fanatic and has traced several of our family lines on both sides well before A.D. 900. Royal records are a huge bonus... at least kings kept good track of their families.
