well anyways im not a guy and i know what your feeling, cause that what happen to me...and well all you need to do is just be a good frend and after that just ask him out of the blue "did you like thos other girls, how they just look and say and what they do?" all you need to do is care about him and be there with him and show him your not like thos other girls, thats how i got my bf lol know its been like 8/14/2years...so if you need something else just ask me or someone else...

be yourself, and if he doesn't like you more than friends than that's how it is :P You said you were his friend, so be happy for him that he likes someone and they like him. Jealousy will only ruin your friendship. Truly loving a person means you will love them no matter what. And that includes them choosing to date someone else if it makes them happy :)
