Why Do I Tell These Things?

I keep telling the boys in my jazz band class my secrets why? Why do i tell them the things? One guy that i told i do like. But this other guy I don't like (love) so why? I told the guy i liked because i wanted to be protected from someone. Why do i tell them my secrets?

I do the same thing with the girls that are close to me. Lately i can't stop telling people how much i like Wibley, and i won't tell her, but it is just a matter of time before someone tells her. I would hope that i would slip and tell her because i can't do it on purpose, i have been trying for 3 years and i just can't do it.

That is a song lyric by the way, but it totally applies to you. Just curious, how old are you? I'm just guessing that you're pretty young because of the fact that you are in a jazz band, and because you haven't seemed to learn that as a chick, you're going to do stupid things that even you won't understand. You just have to learn to think about these impulses to open your mouth before you act on them, and think about the most likely outcome and whether or not it's a good one. I know how you feel though, I too have succomb to my womanly instincts and said stupid shit.
