	I sure you hated being tortured, but right now, by not letting it go, your letting him torture you mentally as well. If it gets so bad to the point when you say to yourself ''I'm not gonna let it go'' that's when he has you just where he wants you. It took me and my brother 7 years to stand up to my father's dangerous and unexcuseable habits. Yeah sometimes it's hard to accept these thing and let them rest, but sometimes it's the only way. You have your whole life ahead of you and right now your letting him control it. You have to be the bigger person and show your father how a man is suppose to act. How he is suppose to care and carry himself. You can't let his ways control you. You have to remember no one can walk in your shoes but you. In other words nobody can control what u do and how u handle anything but you. Be a man about it. Let him know that your no longer a young kid, but someone who has the power to over come his childish behavior. You have to accept this. Does he still hit and torture you or do you both just get into arguements?

	Let go of my past? My dad was never drunk or high when he tortured me. He knew exactly what the fuck he was doing. I'm not just gonna let that go. If he had been drunk, it would be different. But he was sober and knew what wa going on

	You might not believe me, but my brother was once just like you. Before we moved back with my mother we lived with our father in Houston. My father was a drunk and sometime he and my broter got into these huge altercations. When we moved with my mother I noticed he always kept a journal, I call it his diary, but he hates when I call it diary. Anyways when ever he felt like he was getting angry he would write. My brother is an unsigned rapper. He has a total of 120 songs. Each one feeled with the anger that he once had. Most people would say expensive therapy is the answer, but it does nothing. Anyways the best thing I can say for you is put your anger on paper or channel that negative energy towards something else instead of people. Learn to control your emotions. After all all true men should be able to control themselve. As for the pass let it go. Because it's the pass that your holding on to that probably triggers your anger. I'm not saying it's going to be easy, but it's a start.

	I was beat and tortured for a very long time as a kid. Now when someone gets me mad, i just snap and nothing stops me. And my dad starts stuff still, and if he ever does it again, i'll make him look at hell as a relief. Any way to help me get my mind straight?
