how come in america some word are spelt differently then in other english speaking countries?, some examples are colour(color), snigger(snicker), organise(organize), aluminium(aluminum)

Btw, canadians spell put "U" where Americans wouldn't, and I think we spell aluminium too sometimes. What's it matter? It's just frickin' grammar for hells' sake. There are far more better (way better) and more useful things to put thought into.
