Fat girls dating

i really like this guy and i am overweight by... alot. but no one really likes me i feel unliked and unloved by others (except family) this guy that i like is in my jazz band. i really like him and he is a popular person, what should i do?

um. If he likes you he shouldn't care about that. I think you just need to carry yourself with confidence...that's more important than other stuff...at least in my oppinion.

Well I have strugled with my weight for as far back as I can remember! If people dont like you cause of yor weight then they are not worthy to be your friends! If people dont like you because of the weight then that is their problem! If this guy is nice to you,and you like him then tell him how you feel about him. If he cant see you for who you are then he is not worth it! Move on!

Don't ever put yourself down. Your weight does not define who you are and you shouldn't give him any of your time if he solely judges you on that physical aspect. I won't lie, it is an issue with today's society and people do judge because of it--certainly in regards to courtship...but wait for someone who will respect you for you! Anyone else doesn't deserve your affection. The best you can do is be truthful to him and yourself and be comfortable being who you are. Self confidence is always important and constantly ramming on yourself is damaging. I'm still trying to learn that lesson in every aspect of my life and it's a constant battle for me...always trying to have everything perfect; always feeling inferior to everyone else for no reason at all. Some of my friends are overweight...by a rather large degree and they have wonderful lasting relationships. That's far more than I can say for others.

I feel you're pain. Literally. But if you're not comfortable in your own body, then nobody thinks you are! If that doesn't make sense think of it this way: You like yourself and are confident- your personality shines through. You're not- people don't get to see the great person you are. If you like him, let him know in obvious yet discreet ways. If he doesn't like you back then move on! He doesn't deserve someone as great as you!

Well, you just have to work harder to get him. I'm not going to lie to you he may not find you attractive for that reason. So you have to work harder and show him 'inside' of you. If he refuses to see 'inside' of a person he probably won't have a good marriage like most people anyways :P
