cars that sound like lawn mowers

what is it with the stupid exhaust pipes on little cars they sound so lame someone explain to me why you would want your car to sound like a lawn mower?

i just want to get from point a to point b if i had a truck (which i do) i would go 4 wheeling if i had a rice burner i sure wouldnt race around town i would race in a actual race then i wouldnt care if my car sound like a baby spitting

Oh yea..that happens a lot. The sterio to me is the last thing I work on. I make sure it runs decent then I work on cleaning it out and replacing all the damaged or broken parts with better new parts. Replace like the stock lights and exhaust with custom. Or like have you seen the really bad cars that have the bling rims and everything?

Well they might have spent a lot of money on the exterior and interior and forgotten about putting a decent power motor in.

It depends on the race...Would you really want to show up in a offroad mudbogging competition driving a sporty camaro? On that type of race you would need something that goes slow but has power.
