	actually i have talked to one of the presidents of shell that happens to be one of my neighbors and he said that they will sell for higher prices to china since they are buying fuel over there for 6.00 dollars a gallon

	I heard a different spin on this that might just work... although I'm probably missing something... For one thing going without gas for a week is not really going to happen we need the gas too much and even if we did... we would just have to fill up more before and after... it's not practical... Now the email I got said not to buy from Exxon/Mobil, for like EVER... then they would have to lower their prices and surrounding gas stations would have to lower them in respose... It may or may not work, I don't buy from Exxon/Mobil anyway but it's worth a shot as far as I'M concerned....

	what are you guys asking for, do you SERIOUSLY think you'll ever see gas for 1.05, if your young enough to remember that...I can remember 85 cents per gallon...just face it, the way we use gas up, there isn't going to be much left in a few thousand years so yeah they are going to raise the gas price... after seeing steady 2.80 per gallon, for a few years...3.05 doesn't sound so bad...but yeah it does suck that for a small car that I have costed me 35 dollars to fill...but hey thats how our economy works.. btw, i'm travelling on the 15th maybe, I'm going to need gas and I'm not gonna be around home....I'll pump if i have to..

	if you do that and gas prices do lower, then more people will buy more gas because its cheaper and that will make the gas prices go higher because more people are buying more and more....

	Be realistic duhhhh people need to get to work but obviously you have no imagination or you just dont think about the bigger picture, Even if we do it for one day the whole nation it will affect the company ok theres no doubt about it... run some numbers if it pleases you but there business will be hurt if everyone does not buy on a singly day. last but not least DO SOMETHING BESIDES COMPLAIN ABOUT PRICES....if you own a car you definatly complain about gas prices ok or at least think or wish they were lower, We can show them that we can band together at least a majority and if we can do that we the consumers can dictate the prices because they will have to lower prices the less they sell.
