my brothers friend's brother saw his moms ghost the night she died he was 6 when she died, i've seen ghosts too

i cant explain it but on my way to work once i glanced at the mountains and saw a weird dot just sitting there not moving...i thought maybe it was a helicopter till i saw it move behind a peak and this mountain was pretty far away...anyway it came back out from behind the peak and sat there again for awhile and again went behind the peak and i didnt see it again anyway i thought it was weird and i never really told anyone before what could it have been?
