Hatred of overweight people

Interesting thing...I was checkin my MySpace today and someone rudely emailed me "PLEASE GO ON A DIET FOR YOURSELF!"..Why do some people not like people that are overweight. I would like serious responses not 5 year olds trying to be funny.

I am a single mother, I and in a band, I am very active. Next season I will be coaching TeeBall for my daughter's team. I don't have breathing problems or apnea, I don't have joint problems, I DO YOGA...I was just really taken back by someone being so presumptuous as to assume my life was unhappy.
