	The Bible was written by Jews. According to the Jewish belief, there is no Hell. So, why would they write about something, they don't believe in? Keep in mind, the Bible has been translated and re-translated over and over again, from varying languages. One, Ancient Hebrew, has no word for 'Hell.' And yes, the concept of eternal torture is contridictory to the belief in a compassionate and loving God. Even we, sinful humans, find the idea of torture abohorrent. So does that make us more compassionate then God? My belief in no Hell is based on my interpertation of the Bible, it is Biblical to me. Now, I don't believe that I'm going to convince you of the validity of my belief, it is after all religion, and we have numerous denominations and faiths. No one has yet to agree on anything. But neverthelesss, I won't dispute your views on being 'not Biblical', and you could extend the same curtesy toward me.

	Comment Voted down no its doesnt go against the view of a loving and compassionate God. Hell is very evident in the bible, Luke 16 gives witness to people goin to hell and people goin to heaven. The view that you have where no1 goes to hell is simply not biblical.

	That's an interesting concept. You're right, nobody knows for sure who is right or wrong. Really, when it comes to religion, people are going to find different paths and ways of worship and beliefs. That's fine, I believe that God likes diversity.

	Comment Voted down But God isn't loving and compassionate. He can be brutal, too. If you look at what the bible says he killed everyone by flood. He promises never to kill people by FLOOD again, but mentions no where that it won't happen again. But I'm not christian, So, I guess my view of that is irrelevant. -- In my own belief I believe that we are already in hell. I think we're put on this earth to learn life lessons, and values. If you don't do it right then you have to come back until all past Karma is taken care of. After that, you go to heaven. It takes longer for some people to recycle though. If you kill yourself you're right back on earth, if you don't, it may take a little longer for you to come back in. If you don't agree with me, that's perfectly fine. I'm not saying this is how it definitely is, because no body truly knows for sure. Trust your faith.

	I'm a Christian, and believe in Heaven. But I don't believe in a Hell. I believe that the ones who will not go to Heaven, will simply die, and cease to exist. Not spend an eternity in some fiery inferno while being tortured. It goes against the view of a loving and compassionate God.
