Tears that Sting

The hurt you see from my eyes

Making happiness inside me disappear

Now I’m beginning to realize

The sadness happens often which I fear

This fake smile that I put on

Covers up the sad

From morning till dawn

I will not feel glad

You can tell me I have no reason

That my life is rather good

I agree with you in some ways

My head is thick as wood

Just a tiny comment made

It all adds up, just every little thing

Keeping my head in the shade

The tears in my eyes  begin to sting
