In times of silence
I shed a tear
Warm feeling knowing
You'll be there.

Through each year
You've given me
Hope & compassion
That sets me free.

I look back
At all the years
With how I used to cower
By each of my fears.

Before you
I was not whole
You gave me love
You freed my soul.

In times of abandon
You stood there
Letting me know you love me
And how you'd always care.

With times of sorrow
You wiped away these tears
With you is where I spent
The most treasured of my years.

Tonight, with a pouring heart
I choose to get down on my knee
and pray that you'll say yes
to sharing your life with me.

When troubles
Come your way
I'll help bring light
into your day.

You've given me more
Then I could imagine
You've become so much more
Than my best friend.

I'll wipe your teardrops
Before they fall
I give to you my heart
I give...my all.
