i lay on the floor
thinking of you
about the things you say
and the things you do
the way you smile
the way you feel
everything around you
seems so surreal
how you make me happy
even when you're not near
you make me stronger
forget about my fears
the butterflies in my stomach
you make them flutter
and when you touch my skin
the chills in my spine shudder
so i lay on the ground
knowing things will be okay
cause when things go bad
you'll be there to save my day
