I wonder where he is
I wonder if he hurts
I worry myself sometimes
Always on alert
Him being so far away
Fighting for his life
So he can return
To see his son and me, his wife
I know he thinks of us
He thinks of us everyday
But when he gets the chance
He cant find the words to say
He tells me that he loves us
Crying every tear
Saying that things will be okay
His voice, full of fear
We're his inspiration
We're his source of care
He knows that we love him
And that we'll always be there
