It’s like I’m invisible to you

You look at me but have no clue

You sit and stare into my eyes

But you will never realize

All my pain and all my fears

Broken hearts and fallen tears

 

You like to think that I’m alright

Cause the pain only seems to show at night

Whenever people come around

My frown turns itself upside down

 

No one knows what’s wrong with me

I don’t understand what’s so hard to see

But they don’t know what’s written on my heart

Or why my world is falling apart

 

They don’t realize the pain I feel everyday

Or how badly I wish it would just go away

If somebody knew what went on inside

Maybe my heart would feel more alive
