Blackened shadows hide my face
And the hole in my heart that’s beginning to race
A hole of emptiness that can no longer be hidden it like my happiness is something forbidden
I try to keep it hidden but really what’s the use
Think its time that everybody learned the shocking truth
All the pain all the lies all the tears that I have cried
Nothing can fill the emptiness inside
I will remove this mask and step out of the shadows so everyone can see
The pain that fills the person I have truly come to be
A hole of emptiness a heart of despair
A soul of a child that’s living in fear
