sweets

I hate meal times in our house.
I don’t like carrots, peas or scouse.
I don’t like sprouts or cauliflower.
I know what I like and that’s a sherbet shower.
Why can’t I have that for tea with some toffee?
And why can’t I have some cream soda instead of coffee?
My breakfast would be a curly wurly and a mars bar.
For lunch it would be crisps and maltesers not bad so far.
For tea it would be a chocolate milkshake and fudge.
Which is the nicest is so hard to judge.
Now that beats a big roast dinner to me.
Also I believe all sweets should be free.
I do understand that me teeth would rot.
But I do like the false ones me Granddad has got.
I don’t understand why sweets are so bad.
I know with out them my World would be so sad.
I dream about them every single night.
I always seem to wake up just before I take a big bite.
I even bought 10 Wonka bars this year.
I never got a gold pass and they were really dear.
Can you imagine being in a chocolate factory for a day.
Well all I can do now is hope and pray.
