I don’t think you mean to hurt me
I think you truly care
If only you could show it
I would know for sure it was there.
All my life you have told me
And showed me none the less,
That I wasn’t good enough,
That I should try my best.
I WAS trying my best
Couldn’t you just look and see?
I was, I promise, I wouldn’t lie,
This is all I know how to be.
I guess I really am not good enough,
I guess I’m just not right.
And if you see me go away,
Know it was because of you tonight.

Yea really good, but, not to be mean, it just sounds like every other poem on this site. It's all about how much people are pissed at their parents and their life "sucks". But I still liked it. |
