Rain pouring down my face
And hearing nothing around me
I still see a shadow
A shadow of a figure
A firgure of a hero
A hero I know will never leave me
Not now nor ever
Cause that hero
Gave me life
That hero
Watched
Me cry
Watched me time and time again
Making sure no harm came my way
Making sure I had help with choices that were tough or confusing
And someone who I love calling my mother time and time agian
Cause she's my hero
My hero in the darkest times
And my hero in the most brightest
She's the best
She's the strongest
She's the bravest
Through my eyes
And even though she doesn't know it
She's the one that inspires me on who to be
Even though she has done some bad
That doesn't make me look at her any different then I do know
With confidence she has given me
And a great life that she has given protection to
I love her and I respect her
Even though she thinks other whys
