Right before my eyes...
Every hope is swept away
With the tide.
Every bit of happiness taken, as a grain
Of sand is picked up by the river.
Every wish I ever had, disappearing
Right before my eyes.
Everything I'd ever wanted,
Leaving.
Everything I ever loved,
Receding.
Everyone that ever cared,
Swept along with the tide.
Life goes on,
And the grains of sand slip away
Ever faster than before.
At first struggling, but now giving in.
Life continues on,
And with those grains of sand goes all happiness.
Every hope gone
With the tide.
Every bit of happiness moved away, as a grain
Of sand is swept by a river.
Every wish I ever had,
Gone.
Right before my eyes...
