How Can You?

How can you see me when you don't look?
How can you hear me when you don't listen?
How can you help me when you are not here?

You say you know but you don't
In your mind you've convinced yourself you've helped
When you haven't
How can you help when you don't know?
You don't know you're the problem!

You leave me in the dark by myself
Forced to entertain myself I cry
Tears of blood trickle in the wine glass
Which you so happily drink from knowing what it will do
To not only you but to me
As i start to dry i plea

You drink and drink until there's no more
Drunk by it all you fall to the floor
A fun night out with people not over
I wasn't invited
I stayed at home while they all slept over

I grow weaker and weaker as i can cry no more
I'm stranded in the ocean i lose sight of the shore
I feel as though i'm about to sink and never rise
It begins to grow dark as you see your sunrise

I'm not liking this situation
As I sink filled to burst
The salt angers my thirst
To escape and prove I don't need you

To believe myself would be a miracle
As Titanic sinks to the end of existence.
