Starfall

Lay on the ground,

Feel Earths sounds,

Stare up to the sky,

Behold it's loveliness with a sigh,

A star seems to flicker then fade,

Blackness is where it once laid,

Stars still shine despite the death,

They keep glittering like the rest,

A comrade's gone but they don't care,

Not a moment of dispear,

No one loved that little star,

Who tried to keep up & could've gone far,

Maybe it was all alone,

And never had a happy home,

Maybe it just cried too much,

Maybe it never had any luck,

It probably just gave up,

It didn't even ask for help,

Someone could've saved that little star,

Before it even fell,

But no one cared enough to notice,

That it's whole life was totally bougus,

I care for you little star,

Because I'm just like you,

A fake smile and laugh can really go far,

Because no one will ever understand the truth
