Please let me alone.

I will face my demons,

When somebody comes home.

You left me here cold,

Deep in restless sleep.

Please put me in a coma,

before I cut to deep.

I linger in deep indigo,

Of blue twilight across my mind.

I’d love to see the look on your face.

To find what you did find.

You left me here alone.

Deep in restless sleep.

My nightmares come to life.

No secrets I can keep.

And so I answer,

call of blade to the skin.

Obeying its command,

I cut lines so thin.

I wish I could see your face

One last time before you left,

Yet I linger in this dead zone,

Of what you should have kept.

A monster has unleashed,

Into the deepest thought

of those who didn’t even know you,

But sought what you had sought.

I seek this for relief.

I seek this for revenge.

I seek this for love.

Mend me if I’ll mend.

Please don’t let me linger,

On the thought of you.

One who I didn’t know

Yet my love for you so true.

So lay me in the grass.

Let the rain pour down.

Let it take my life,

My soul, please let it drown.
