Mother, I'm sorry for being your regret.
Just another black sheep, your piece of shit.
I never meant to hurt you, but obviously did.
By being your child, your offspring, your kid.
From a piece of you & father, I came.
Nothing special, instead your trophy of shame.
Everything I tried to do was wrong.
Like the chords written for my beloved song.
Happiness is what I tried to bring.
Flat notes were all I managed to sing.
You faked a smile through all the mess.
Because of me, your pain, your stress.
Your agony prolonged while I was around.
So now I've ended it, no note, no sound.
Mothers mourn when life is taken away.
But I know you smile on this joyous day.
