I'm sorry for not believing you. You knew the end was near. You urged me to believe, but it away. I pushed you away. I didn't want to accept it, nor did I want to accept you. The hurts & pains felt in the past. All caused by you.
I'm sorry for not listening. For closing my mind. Your words danced around me, seeking a soft place to puncture. To attack. But it was too late. I've hardened myself, not wanting to open. Trapped and enclosed. Empty, but secure.
I'm sorry for blaming you. For taking out my problems on you. Throughout our lives. Throughout our memories. Throughout my poem.
Now, left alone, I don't know what to do. Where to go. Who to blame. So sorry again for everything. For the blaming, the screaming. The beating. Just, for everything.
