Every time I see you with someone else

I get this feeling inside that I have never felt

It’s as though my heart has burst in flames

But it is not you who is to blame

I don’t understand why I feel this way

I wish I had something else I could say

But the flames in my heart

Will not let my feelings part

Every time I see you smile

My hearts flames are put out for a while

And every time I see you hurting

It is my heart that begins burning

I feel all these things for you

And all I wish is that you knew

But I can’t say how I feel

Even though all these feelings are real
