When you stopped loving me
One oclock in the morning
on a tear stained pillow
a flash of lightning
on a rain stain window
that cold rain continues to pour
remembering that summer
when i was a child no more
we were wild and on the run
never thought twice about anything we done
two kids just trying to test our wings
making memories of those crazy feelings
so younge careless and free
but i hevent felt like that since that summer
when you stopped loving me
could i have been so stupid
could i have been so smart
for letting a boy like you
go and steal my heart
never been so stupid
as when i fell for that line
never been so smart
as when i made you mine
three whole months of forever and more
we held on tight cause we`d never felt like that before
we were wild and on the run
never thought twice about anything we done
two kids just trying to test our wings
making memories of those crazy feelings
so young
so careless
so free
but i havent felt like that since that summer
when you stopped loving me
