When I go back
To that magical place
Where people don't know it
But you brought me such grace
Safe in your arms
It's where I was meant to be
Your warm love
Embracing me
Everything was right
There was nothing to shame
But then we broke apart
And things will never be the same
Where a smile once stood
There now stands a frown
My heart fell apart
My body broke down
My eyes were flowing
With painful tears
As I remembered
All of the years
I was happy
Now I'm sad
We can never get back
The love that we had
But it's okay
My hearts almost healed
Though now I keep
My love concealed
All by myself
Alone in this place
My head may be here
But my heart's in that place...
