The only thing that really matters

Romance is more than just old notes and her favorite flowers. More than memories and the smell of sex on her bed from the night before. More than long walks down the beach. More than holding hands just to show her off because you can. More than making an idiot of yourself, just for her. I've learned that the best thing about it is being there for her. Even when she doesn't really need you there. It's still puts a smile on her face to know you are caring at that moment.
