Another day goes by,

Ifeel like I could die

As he walks on by,

I start to cry

He passes me in the hall,

Like he don't know me at all

Everytime I seem to fall,

He ain't there to catch me at all

I spend my nights all alone,

Because he hasn't came back to my home

We were not once but twice together,

I thought this time we'd last forever

Wishing I could erase Friday,

the day he went away

Wishing I'd went to the dance,

So that girl couldn't have the chance

to take the only one i truly love, 

I gave him my love

I gave him my heart,

And now its all torn apart

Wishing that all of this would go away,

Like a bad dream being sent away

Wishing I could wake up and everything would be okay.

mypoeticrage Sometimes its better 2 let go. From experience, I say that if something has gone wrong in a relationship and hurt either, no matter how hard you try to fix things there will always be a scar.

this is very moving..i know a girl lyk that and its the one im with...i met her back in 2006 but i was with someone else...and i never knew that the girl im with now really liked/loved me since we got closer but she had to live with someone else in my life for a year...nice poem..very touching

Foreverlyn It's very detrimental to loose someone special yet one has to realize that at times in a certain point in the relatioship something was damaged and each others' viewpoints weren't reconciled. But like your ending phrase, per sempre you'll have love for that person.
