winter falls
lifting life from the trees
voices call
catching warmth through a breeze
yet no one hears
the cries of a lonely girl
so the tears fall
into her empty world
she finds
that rainy days can be alright
she feels
her heart survive with the time
she sings
easing pain inside her mind
she'll remember
the lonely tears that she's cried
summer shines
placing hope inside her soul
voices sigh
closing eyes left so cold
she doesn't care
about tears from another day
she bares
her fears from yesterday
she finds
that cloudy days can be alright
she lets
her heart survive with the time
she brings
soothing peace into her mind
she'll remember
the rolling tears were always kind
