How Jesus saved me

Mommy and Daddy's home

They've been drinking again

I forgot to take out the trash

I hope they don't notice

But I know mommy will

I'm so scared now

She sees it

Glares

"You stupid bitch"

She yells

She throws me against the wall

Then the oven

Daddy grabs her arm

"I'll take care of her"

He sayes gently to mommy

He throws me into the yard

Tonight is a snowstorm

And the only clothing I have is a Night shirt and underwear

The next day I'm nice and warm

But I'm not in my body

I look over

Mommy's crying

Daddy's shaking his head

I see my body, I'm frozen stiff

"Where am I?" I ask

But I have no voice

"Your with me now child,

Your safe, for eternity"
