I trusted you from the start,

you even convinced my heart.

I gave it to you freely,

even though I couldn't see the lies you hid from me.

I gave you my heart only for it to be torn in two.

You said you loved me, I was stupid to believe you.

You asked me again to trust you wouldn't break it.

But I knew that you'd be like any other that faked it.

You hurt me deep inside.

But what hurt worse was when you didn't even turn to say good-bye.
