Emotional Abuse

Not all abuses are physical or sexual
Emotional abuse also hurts
Many people don't think it does much damage
But they just don't know

I have lived through emotional abuse all my life
17 years in the making
I've been able to keep up an act
But i just can't keep on faking

An act i do put whatever situation
I smilie and sigh depends on occation

But my audience won't see what happens beyond the scene
For they think my whole life has been so serene

But once in a while i'll slip, I'm not perfect
All this acting is for a purpose
If you spot it don't ask, not a question
'Cuz once you're gone it isn't a sight
They'll be up in my face saying
'BITCH I WISH YOU'D JUST DIE'
