Determined

While in the shadow of greatness, passion is expected.

Passion to achieve, passion to fail, even passion to not care if you're rejected.

Because ones' character is achieved through adversity they've faced;

Whether you've failed miserably, or succeeded; Did you deem yourself a disgrace?

 It's not your trials that define you, but how you face the facts.

Will you dance around the issue, or launch a full-on attack?

The choice is yours to make, and in my case I will be:

A wonderful husband, amazing father, and a fireman in the Marines.
