she is in a world forever more
a world separate from our own
a world where great wonders are in store
but a world where she is alone
she used to have a soul mate
someone she would never part
but life had another fate
and broke that great art
broken by cruel hands
broken by old fear and old hate
broken by bigotry of different lands
broken by everyone but her mate
her love did not care
she did not see the divide
for she was keenly aware
of the girl on the inside
they probably want to kill her too
since she was the only one who knew
any of them could be gay too
And so could some of you

i like the flow of it it rolls of my tounge and like the fourth stanza it really stands out to me this is amazing! |

the ending kind of felt forced but you really got your point across. i like how the third stanza has the repetive'broken', that stood out to me. keep it up!! |
