She always came to my show
Sat in the front row
Always sang along with every word
And the thoughts her body stirred
Took her back stage after the show
Talking about all the people I know
Talking turned into more
And we had one more on the tour
She said

Tears to my eyes

I just can’t get them out of my head
She loves my songs
Always singing along
Admiring my skill
Just can’t seem to get her fill
Till one day she was gone
And the show had to go on
But I felt dead
Remembering what she said
