.....................................................................................................
Where did my friend go?
I simply do not know
I looked for him all day
All I wanted to do was play
But he is no where to be found
I would know I searched all around

We had to abandon my dog at home
I really hate him being all alone
But dad said he would be fine
Our neighbors are so kind
They will take care oh him he said
Make sure he is well feed
We will be back once the storm is gone
And he will still be there on the front lawn

Its starting to rain I’m getting wet
Why are they not back yet?
Its past dinner, where’s my food?
Don’t they know how this is rude?
Something is telling me to run
But this is where I have fun
I don’t want to go but I can’t stay
Where is my friend why can’t we play?

We came back to the house today
Dad should have known he wouldn’t stay
The house is a
The house is a destroyed
And the leash he employed
Is oddly missing from the lawn
And I know my dog is gone

I don’t know where I am
It’s like they didn’t give a damn
They left me when they ran
What makes them think I would stand?
I know the way back home
But I would almost rather be alone
