From across the room
My touch he longs for
My lips he dreams of
Our families filled with such hate
Our love is very great
Time is ticking; almost to late
I must marry a man
I do not love
My anger, my hate
Leaves me blinded
The drink I must take
Leaves me cold
The crypt I lay in
Keeps me alive
My love is coming
To take me away
The poison he drinks
The dagger I hold
Will leave us in this world
So cold
