A melody lingers in my head,
As I slowly start to decay.
This darkness is closing in on me,
And I’m realizing my greatest fears.
I’m losing myself to the morbid fairytales
That haunt my thoughts
Every time my eyes close.
I’m paranoid of every whisper
That echoes in my mind.
I’ve never felt so alone.
This hollow night vanishes
Leaving me to face my greatest fear.
My scream pierces the silence,
As the melody fades away.
